salvatore.mele 1 Posted August 30, 2005 Does this composition work to present the contrast between the energy of the kid and the total lack of response of the fish? Comments and criticism are welcome: children/street photography is something I seldom do... Link to comment
bill_t__new_mexico_ 0 Posted August 30, 2005 Very interesting sequence. Doesn't tell me much about the fish, but you have expertly reminded me of what a child's mind is like! I like this image a lot. BTW your gallery is fabulous! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 31, 2005 I like the sequence form of the "story", especialy the first two. In the third one the boy is nearly not visible. maybe "transfer" him a bit to the left hs. The fish looks like a shadow .. Colors are giving it a mysterious feeling, sort of a legend story. Can you explain the way you have composed the contents? Thanks Pnina Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted August 31, 2005 Pnina, I was sitting on a bench in front of this large acquarium window and decided to try some people-and-fish shots. The history is as it came: this overenergetic kid came running in (I) stopped and tried to have some reaction from the fish, by kicking into the thick plexiglas wall (II) and then -all of a sudden- calmed down and decided to have a closer look to the manta (III). All this in a few seconds... not a big story to tell, but I found it funny to see his sudden change of moods and the total lack of reaction -expected- from the fish. Link to comment
