jayme 0 Posted August 29, 2005 Just playing with image combination. I by no means have a clue about how to do this well, I am a novice. I just thought these two images together captured the extremes of Abigail's range of character expression. Sweet & innocent to the "don't mess with me" attitude! :) So cute! Link to comment

home page1 0 Posted August 29, 2005 Jayme, I can see vertical line artifact throughout the image, including the frame. Could be my monitor but don't think so. Otherwise, very nice idea. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted August 29, 2005 Ken- this a texture effect I added. So you are right it is through out, including the frame. Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted August 30, 2005 Sorry Jayme. I should've known it was intentional. Link to comment
giggles 0 Posted August 31, 2005 My only suggestion with this image is to try to give each image more equal space. Maybe by cropping the looking down image on the left about at her ring finger. I feel that the left image is overpowering and the attidude one is just stuck on the edge. Or maybe lower the attidude image to the right hand corner as if she is looking down on herself. Just some of my thoughts to think about. I still just love the Abigail image. I copied your frame idea on one of my high key baby photos. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted August 31, 2005 Thanks Emily- By gosh I think you're right! :) I wasn't really satisfied with this and I never even thought of cropping off the left. See what happens when your mind gets into a certain train of thought. Thats why 2 heads are always better than one! :) I like it much better :) Thanks for your suggestions. Moving the image on the right may also be a super idea, but no can do, I forgot to save the 2 images I used in separate layers so I will have to start over with the original images. Oh well, good practice for me. I'll try your idea of moving the right head down. Thanks, as always, I appreciate your input. Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted September 1, 2005 I'd say professional photogrpahy that you'd see in advertising. I mean that in a good way. Link to comment
giggles 0 Posted September 1, 2005 I'm glad you like my little suggestion to your already great idea...I like the crop better too. It gives each image equal attention and your title explains perfectly your intentions with the image. Link to comment
