Very nicely ballanced composition, good partition of colors and textures. It looks an unending nice corners in that building...I think it will go nicely as well in B/W. Pnina

Yes, this is a bit different, kinda cool I think. The new Bio photo is from the 1980 Winter Olympics I was working for ABC at that time. Who the gal with the hat is well that is anybody's guess. I remember that they brought her up there for a photo shoot. That is the top of the 90 meter ski jump.

That is a good idea I think I'll see how that looks as a black and white. The metal surface should have good gray scale and there is a little true black so it might just make a nice one.

Hi Jim! Yes, it is another good one from the Gehry maestro. The texture in the bricks on the right and the concrete on the left is what is intriguing for me with this photograph.

I also like the horizontal subdivision of the frame by the strong vertical element at the 2/3rds point. Within the left hand division is a dominance of diagonal lines. The rapid shift in direction in the right hand division creates a strong but very pleasing virtual tension.

By the way, is your Bio photograph from the Lake Placid Olympics? That's going back a few years! Regards.

"Gehry maestro" thanks I like that. This exposure did come out very well I'm quite pleased with it. It has the elements that I like, contrasting colors and good lines and the rays of light were a bonus.

The new bio photo does go back. It is hard to belive that was 25 years ago. Those were the days. I had a full head of hair and had great hearing back then. Now that is a camera. That is a Phillips LTK 5 with a long sports lens. You could shoot across the whole valley there with that baby.
