bentes_world 0 Posted August 25, 2005 ....but I think we can agree it's a bird? A very nice one indeed with nice colors, details and the expression is great. Nice use of DOF. BTW ... I always enjoy your entertaing biopictures. Quite a gallery. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted August 26, 2005 Love this, Ken! The colors are great!! How long was its tail? Do you have a shot of the entire length of the bird? Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 26, 2005 Ken, that bird looks like a painter's pallet... nice and sahrp execution. Pnina Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted August 30, 2005 Nice shallow d.o.f., detail, and saturation. IMHO however there is quite a bit of magenta color shift. A teeny bit more of the tail would be desirable as well. Still, a strong capture. You do nice work with animal that's for sure. ^_^ Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted August 31, 2005 Ken, this is a birdpainter, isn't it? Can be different, I have never seen so many colors so harmoniously composed. Great capture; great DOF. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted September 1, 2005 Never heard of it before but glad you introduced me! Cracking colours and detail. I agree with Wilson about the tail. Link to comment
ab_art001 0 Posted July 13, 2012 Hi KenYou've really captured the personalities of this Australian lorikeet. He is stunning speciman. He is either a red collared or rainbow lori as we call them down under. I have the Rainbows living around my area and they have such characters you could watch and take photos for hours and you would never get the same image or expression twice.where was this guy located??Take care and love your work.regardsAnn Link to comment
