Ken, I really like this one,great use of DOF, full of the colors, good details, and nice expression ,well captured. but, the PN system still doesn't let me to vote 7/7 on excellent image...??? SORRY KIM. Best regards.

....but I think we can agree it's a bird? A very nice one indeed with nice colors, details and the expression is great. Nice use of DOF.

 

BTW ... I always enjoy your entertaing biopictures. Quite a gallery.

Nice shallow d.o.f., detail, and saturation. IMHO however there is quite a bit of magenta color shift. A teeny bit more of the tail would be desirable as well. Still, a strong capture. You do nice work with animal that's for sure. ^_^

Ken, this is a birdpainter, isn't it? Can be different, I have never seen so many colors so harmoniously composed. Great capture; great DOF.

Hi Ken

You've really captured the personalities of this Australian lorikeet. He is stunning speciman. He is either a red collared or rainbow lori as we call them down under. I have the Rainbows living around my area and they have such characters you could watch and take photos for hours and you would never get the same image or expression twice.

where was this guy located??
