First off, I like the ps-work alot. Only if she's contemplating suicide I would have liked to see more emotion to emphasize the pain she most be going through. In this instance it could also be interpreted as if she is making a grocery-list while she's holding a gun to her head..

Disturbing and provocative impact/message but masterly done. bravo!

I don't know if her expression demonstrates something akin to her making a grocery list while holding a gun to her head. It assumes that people who are about to commit suicide or are contemplating it wear their emotions on their sleaves (or their faces in this case). People are not always that transparent. I do sense pain from her expression, one that may be subdued but nevertheless enduring.

 

I like the composition with her pushed to the right of the image.

Looking at her expression along with the supporting effects I am not getting a sense of desperation. Happy day can be the minute she decides to pull the trigger and walk away...

Haleh, I agree with your second sentence. I don't necessarily think she seems desperate either, but I still sense some degree of pain in her expression. Some people show their desperation very openly and others don't.

really good post processing. the emotion works for me, who knows what goes through the mind at a time like this...
