IMO the B&W makes this picture extra strong. Let me think of an etching. Funny to see how the birds (I think they are geese, aren't they?) all stand and walk in the same direction. Very nice composition! Greetings, Ada:)

Hi Sondra, Had to stop in and comment, unusual but possibly one of the best shots I've ever viewed of geese. I counted 24 plus what looks to be a female Mallard duck. The IR causes them to stand out.....Jim

Nice graphic effect and haven't those geese done you proud - all assembling themselves in that triangular composition! I agree with Jim's count :-)

Maybe a wider angle lens and a little closer would have made an even better shot. How do you make the IR?

John, IR modified: Internal IR cut filter removed from Sony F828 resulting in normal daylight shooting speeds with R72 IR filter.
