I like this very much. I think it's curiously effective. For example, it's a surprise that the hands are in focus and not the eyes. There is also an unexpected set of highlights: the left eye, the left armpit, the salt shaker, and the cluster above the salt.

Nice shot. The focal point seems to be near the salt and pepper shakers. Unfortunately the males face in the front is alittle blurry. Even if this was intentional, peoples eyes are going to be drawn to the human face in the forground and then think that it is out of focus.
