george_crawford 0 Posted August 20, 2005 How has a lot to do with photo technique and a lot to do with people skill. the photo technique is fairly easy se the camera to the proper exposure and wait for the moment. This case if my memory serves me well the exposure was around 12/f8 with iso 100. the lens was a 50 mm . Post processing included a crop to 4/5 format and conversion to BW by Calculations on the Red and green channels. the people skills are much harder to relate. My wife and i spent a couple of hours in this wood carvers shop and spent a good deal of time speaking with the gentlemen. His character shows well in this photo. Link to comment
