Technical details: F8 @ 9 seconds, ISO 200, lens at 35mm (52.5mm in 135mm terms).

30 minutes after sunset. The polarizer really emphasized the blue of the sky.

With the increasing smog it's getting harder and harder to get such a

beautiful sky in HK. I used a circular polarizer to bring out the

deep blue of the dusk sky.

Teru, I hear you about the pollution. The best time to take this photo is after heavy rain. The rain 'washes the air.' When I saw this image, I knew it hadn't been taken in the last month.

 

Many take this photo, few get it right. (I certainly haven't.)
