someoneelse 1 Posted August 17, 2005 Just a part of a rusty door, oversaturated it, handhold as you can see, and I thought the tiny little opening gives it something extra. What do you think? Link to comment
WJT 624 Posted August 17, 2005 Neat photograph; well seen. It produces an interesting effect on me in that I would like to know what lies beyond through the slit. Regards. Link to comment
chris hughes 0 Posted August 17, 2005 Love the abstract. This sort of metal door can be seen all around the Willamette Valley in Oregon where I grew up.. For me, the hint of purple on the upper left really makes the image. The off center composition was a good choice too. 6/5 Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted August 18, 2005 Walter Tatulinski, that's the nice thing, you can wonder what's behind the door, and I have seen thrue the slit, if you look close at the picture, in the top you see a part of a roof..... Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted August 18, 2005 Chris, this color came out when I saturated it in paint shop, the composition, out of the centre, is coming now naturaly, not because it is FORBIDDEN, I have troubles with rules. But I am learning. Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted August 18, 2005 Ryszard Tychawski, yes that's a good observation, first the end and now a beginning, unconsciously and sometimes consciously there is a story in my pictures Link to comment
janet_. 0 Posted August 18, 2005 I like it! Mooie compositie... :0) Link to comment

I have something with doors/entrys, always interesting, open ones, closed ones and sometimes just with a little opening Thanks Pnina, always good to hear from you Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted August 20, 2005 Nice rusty lines and a slit .. several triangles and other geometric figures thar only a math teacher knows the names of. i think it's a clever composition and cropping .... and the slit is a way in .. or a way out .. something for the mind to work with. Suitable saturation. Link to comment
Groetjes, Ada:) P.S. Zie net dat dit Liewerdse deuren zijn:~). Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted August 21, 2005 Hi Bente, that's what I like, as you know (I hope) something for the mind to work with...... beautifull said, a way in or out.......but it is a direction, I always want to go up..... Link to comment

ljk 0 Posted August 29, 2005 Been busy with my new grandbaby, and so haven't had much time for PN. Hope you are settled and doing fine.... Love the angles and colors in this image...rust and earth tones really appeal to me ,and I like the way the color seems to soften the hardness of the metal and angles... Link to comment
