Fine detail again, the only thing I would change is I would smooth out the higher ISO grain in the background. 6-6

The title is perfect and the bird is living up to it!

Gaetan, I sent you the link to Neat Image a while back, never heard from you. Here it is again, the free version:

http://www.neatimage.com/

It is a very easy software to use if you just want to do a quick fix.

If you just want to use the default setting, here's what you do:

1) Run the software and click on Tools and chose Advance Mode.

2) File, open input image.

3) Device noise profile.

4) Auto profile.

5) Noise filter settings.

6) Output image.

7) Apply.

8) Save output image.

9) OK.

If you didn't like the result and you thought there was not enough or too much noise reduction, after step five, play with the sliders on the right and then click on Preview to see it it's what you want. You may want to play only with the first set of sliders, they do the most work. The last set of sliders sharpens your image. there is also instruction on how to use the software on the site.

Good luck.

Thank you very much for your very fine comments and the way to use Neat Image. Yes I have received from you the link to Neat Image a while back ago, but you know it is a question of time to invest in learning new software. From your works on my photos, I am convinced to the better appeal of image using this software especially taking photos at 400 ISO. And your explanation to a quick use will help me I hope to use it in the near future.

During the day, I am a system analyst working all day on a computer. So I want in the evening not to invest to much time learning at my computer.

This is the main reason I do not have used the software. Also, I thought that using this tool give better looking photo but the image is less sharp. But your image attachment give me the proof of a clean picture with not much loose in the sharpness.

Your comments and explanation are greatly appreciated and it will help me to acquire the software.
