The 2nd bird seemed to be "added" rather poorly. Was that intentional?

Tony, it appears to be the same bird, though rotated. I agree... and it seems unecessary to me. Compression isn't helping, it probably looks much better larger.

Too much manipulation for my liking. I wonder what this image originally looked like. It definitely has a sense of 'painting' to it...but this is not to my personal taste.

 

This reminds me of those velvet paintings you could buy in the 70's/early 80's of tigers and such that glow in the dark under a black light.

 

I agree...all of these are too much. Coming from someone with an empty portfolio means nothing, I just hopped on, thought I'd give my two cents. Great manipulation, you definately know what you are doing with that, but I agree with above comment about velvet glowy things. Its like eating linguini out of a pool of tomato sauce; good idea....but too much. But what do I know?
