I had to look at it more than once. I like it very much. The non defined passenger, the reflection on the windows and his posture is the average Joe traveler that really doesn't want be there. Very well captured.

This is one fine image. You have captured the entire airport experience superbly. The wait, the ultra modern waiting area, the lights, and the awaiting aircraft something that most of us have experienced. Excellent, I think this is one fine piece of work.

Terrific photo David! There's so much to see and it tells the story of the dreaded airport wait. I hope you had a great flight!

Knicki, I suspect the pink shirt is neatly folded and in his luggage. Why else would he have had it ironed! I say we challenge him to wear it on his return flight and take a similarly inspired photo.

Marco, Yes I was bored and so thought I would take some pictures. I couldn't find any willing models and so I thought I would photograph myself. I did want to be there but wanted to convey the mood that you describe. Thanks.

Alex, I am very pleased you like the shot. I think it does portray all the elements that you see and that is what I wanted to do. I actually like this myself. Thanks

Knicki, The pink shirt was being ironed..... again!!!!

Laurie, Thanks for the comment on the photo. The pink shirt is in Hong Kong. The next time I am there, I will try to take an inspired 'Pink Shirt Picture' and will be sure to give you a mention!

Thanks everyone!

Thanks Satvinder. I am encouraged by the number of positive comments on this photo. Comments mean more than ratings but the system is based on ratings. It is a pity that this shot only received 6.

Thanks for your encouragement!

An everyday scene at the airport which I have not thought of taking. Nice presetation, David. Esp like the airplane there

Very nice David. Plenty of reflections and levels. I like the camera as the silent accomplice, and the arrangement of the lights highlights. I commit myself into the clutches of The World's Not So Favourite Airline later today. Doubt I'll get this good a shot of the airport / flight experience. Best, Jeremy

Hi Everyone! I had given up on this photo. I did like it but it seemed only a select few did also.

Spencer, If the truth be known I was drinking too much and thought I needed a diversion and so I whipped out my camera.

Cherlyn, The aeroplanes were what made this shot for me. Now that you have the idea, I look forward to your version of ths shot!

Jeremy, The thought of flying on the world's not so favourite airline is enough to remove everyone's imagination. Wait until you are flying someone a little more people friendly and then try to take a shot!

Jana, Thanks! That is what I was trying to create.

Thanks everyone.

this really says it all! Great shot and I would love to see a traveling agency having the guts and humor to use this photograph in there commercial-add!

Janet, If the travel agents were to use this picture, I think they would want a better model. Are you available?

Gerry, Actually! I am a strange creature. I love airports. They are great places for people watching. I think the look on my face is more to do with the amount of alcohol I had taken.

Thank you both.

Thanks Owen. I felt the photograph summed up my mood. I uploaded it to see what the response would be. I guess I should give photos more time before I gauge what others think of them. I will have a few more photos to upload in a few weeks time. Hopefully, I will take more then too!

Excellent. Mood, atmosphere, and even though you say you like airports, this has a wonderful sense of ennui.

"ennui." I think the word you are looking for is "alcohol." The mood was inspired by copious amounts of champagne. Thanks again!
