Sondra, these just keep getting better and better! You've chosen the perfect medium for photographing Williamsburg. The eye is so accustomed to seeing vegetation as green that you don't fully appreciate this kind of lushness. The tones in the IR really bring it out nicely! Great work!

Ivan, IR photography has been around for over 70 years. For some its a novelty, you either love it or hate it. I love the trees being white and the sky being dark, everything is in reverse. You can be more artistic in toning or coloring your image, alot more fun and work, but it is very satisfying. Cheers, Sondra

Well said Sondra, You know what, IR has always been here, we just couldn't see it.....To me IR brings out some photographer's creativity, and I might add quite wonderfully. The above being a good example.... And one other thing, adding color to b&w photos has been going on since probably around the Civil War.....Jim

Sondra, I'm wondering if it may be the case that people that don't dig IR, well perhaps they are just on the other end of the spectrum with UV....Jim

oh, how beautiful IR effects here daer SOndra, but most of all, the harmony and rythm of your composition is so brillant!!!

and this is a Chapel from the 17 Century. wow. well well preserved!!!!
