Exactly, what celebration was it? Something traditional transported till today?

Gul and Maria, thanks for looking. This was part of the Mazeres town fete. There were nine brass bands in the town centre, in three groups of three. This area by the market had some firemen, what I think were some catalans (this man) and some others I will add later. This was a fun day.

I like the good strong central subject - the bloke waving his tambourine etc. The other figures then capture the interest in turn. Works well and looks fun!
