Je bent goed op dreef, en dat verdien je dubbel en dwars maar dat wist je al! Ga door met het maken van mooie foto's met een verhaal. Gr marc

Sometimes people find it hard to express their feelings. This person

feels troubled within his own ways. He's a prisoner in his being..

I have always said about my own work that people can hate it or love it as long as creates an emotion. The worst review is NO reaction at all or lack of interest. This image makes me feel uncomfortable. It might be getting too close to my own nightmares. Very well done.

a very moving image.

i am curious as to whether this capture was from a performance piece or whether it was set up specifically for this shoot.

@ Drew, that is a very great compliment! Of course I don't want you to feel uncomfortable, but when you feel something! is a great thing... thanks.

@ Gary, this was a shoot for this specific reason...

A photo about someone being trapped in their own feelings SHOULD make the viewer uncomfortable. Your framing also makes me wonder what demons are lurking behind your subject. This image is a winner in a lot of ways.

Don't need the explanation - the image is dark and moody and disturbing all on its on. Really love the control of tone (range and color) - and the textures of the (wet?) fabric. And the overall placement of head in frame and position of head. All really comes together.

woh, scary, that was my first thought, this pic does a great job as everyone says of conveying emotion, good capture, creative, just nothing I'd want sitting in my living room, nonetheless great art. 5/7

Wat een verrassing je beelden hier te treffen. Ze geven de machteloosheid die je kunt ervaren heel zuiver weer. Veel dank, Emily
