haunting eyes. with the muted colors she seems like a ghost. would have liked to see all of her head. i really like this, good job.

Absolutly more than beautiful! I'm impressed by the light, the tones, the angle, DOF and by her WONDERFUL eyes! Very inspiring shot.

What a captivating gaze this little girl has. I was absolutely riveted by it. DOF is very good and the lighting is excellent. Wonderful portrait, I really like it alot.

I feel bad for saying this, but the girl's exquisitely captured face/head seem disconnected from her body... probably due to effect of flash. Besides that it's excellent, but as soon as I clicked on the thumbnail I had the impression as described above. -Greg-

Just a usual day? When I see this, my day turns slightly in a un-usual day, this image really touches me!

...looks everything but usual to me. She seems more like a ghost or phantom - her senses and mind being very clear and knowing what she is after for, when on the other hand, her physical body slightly fading away... Very good portrait, sharp and good colors.

 

She has very clear eyes, deep inside (regardless of what she has had time to learn in this world) being a wise person and having a good intuition. She can easily detect a wavelength of the feeling love in the room.

 

A nice hair-do and very pretty dress.

Jochen, it seems to be that the only thing one can do when looking at your portfolio is to express ones admiration. You have a very personal style full of sincere feelings, generous colours and a clear mastering of composition. Your photos of women are immensely intelligent without any artifacts of glamour or breathtaking events but deeply touching. I love them. If I should chose one to illustrate my preferencies I would be tempted to chose almost all of them, however the photo of the small girl "Just a usual day" could be an example out of many.
