David's Pink Shirt

Knicki asked if it was true that men were OK wearing pink condoms but not pink shirts.

 

I have been known to wear both but probably not at the same time.

 

Feedback appreciated.

My local Chinese laundry looks nothing like this. Mr. Yan is starch collared and very proper.

As for the needle in the condom shot, in the immortal words of the Monty Python Troop "every sperm is sacred, every sperm is great, if a sperm is wasted God gets quite irrate". Now I have to go pick up my shirts then go home and watch the Meaning of Life.

Perhaps I should wear more pink. It is a typically well composed image with a great deal of imagination behind it. My only complaint is that she is a tad out of focus, at least on my monitor.

 

I should ask Knicki what color she thinks I would look good in.

First off, I hope you know this is dangerous. It would be oh so easy for her to get burned by the edge of that iron!

 

David, I love the pink cast to the background. The composition is well considered. While most of her looks sharp on my monitor, her face might not be. (perhaps a slow shutter speed and a bit of movement?).

 

For what it's worth, worn with confidence, a soft pink shirt always looks nice on a man. I'm not so sure about a pink condom.

Owen, I am not sure about the focus problem. It may be a compression problem when I shrink the file OR it may be as you say, out of focus. As for Knicki suggesting what colour you would look good in; I am sure she would say any colour. We shall have to wait and see. Thanks as always Owen.

 

Laurie, Thanks for the comment. It was a simple picture and I wasn't going to upload it. However, I thought when Knicki was mentioning Pink shirts, Why not! There are photos of me in existence wearing the shirt in the photograph. If they ever end up on photo.net, I will have to kill someone!

so thats the trick to a good ironed shirt- ironing in the nude. I've been doing it wrong the entire time.

Knicki, I doubt you do anything wrong. The iron didn't come out too well ironed.... but who cares?

I like photos that retain just the subject matter and nothing else, but I am incapable of setting one up. And yes, women always iron in the nude. Some of them even wash in the nude !

John, Setting up an image is infinitely easier than photographing them in the natural surroundings that you do. I appreciate both techniques, as well as many others, have their merits and that is why these pages are so interesting.
