stevespencer 0 Posted August 8, 2005 I can't think of anything I would change in this fine image. The light is warm, and there are no burned highlights on leaves or sunspots, which are hard to avoid in this type of scene. The water is blurred just right (and again, no burned highlights there either). Technically, the line between the river and the woods divides the frame into a 50/50 composition, but it seems to work alright anyway here, maybe because it is just so pretty overall. -s Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted August 9, 2005 Great contrast between the warm colors of the background and the freshnss of the water, Jerry. Link to comment

bentes_world 0 Posted August 10, 2005 Oh, is fall that close? It's a great composition. the silky effect on the water is really good and there is a warm tone to it all. Link to comment

Stock-Photos 1 Posted October 10, 2008 Nice work Jerry. You asked for critique on the cropping. I'm not crazy about the horizontal line through almost dead center. Otherwise a great photo! Link to comment
