Bob, I love the sense of controlled chaos with this one. Because the color and monochrome versions are so different visually, I find it hard to compare them. The mood and the visual dynamic are nearly complete opposites.

M. and Laurie thanks for your nice comments. I shot these hand held--next time I'll try the traditional tripod approach.

Bob, While using a tripod will certanly give you some alternative shots, I have no issues with this at all without a tripod. because of handholding, you ended up with a very interesing layered look to the visual elements. The swaths of color appear like transluscent brushsrokes. The red brace/platform for the ride in the bottom right seems to move in front of and then behind the green. I think it's a great visual play-kind of a dance of primary colors. I wouldn't be heartbroken if the truck wasn't there.

A monochrome rendering of an inerhently colourful object made me long for colour, here I get the colours and I am a happy viewier...who would be happier without truck (and car, for what matters)

This is a great image-true to the visual grid and very well captured. While others will nit-pik about changes I think it should be left alone. It deserves to fill a large wall.

Michael, thanks for your comments on several of my photos. Since many of my favorite photographers left Photo.net, I haven't been very active here for over a year.
