paula grenside 0 Posted August 8, 2005 I have no idea what it is, Mark, but like it, the geometry and colors as well. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 8, 2005 I don't know more than Paula what it is about but I know it's nice to see : ) Fine and soft blend of colors. Link to comment

jmoody 0 Posted August 8, 2005 Well Done!!! In it's smaller thumbnail version I almost thought it was a piece of a landscape (like crops/farmland) but now I'm totally lost after looking at the larger version. Very strong geometry and color... sharp as can be. Great work! Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted August 8, 2005 Thanks, Jeff. It's always great getting feedback from you. I was attracted by the lines and shapes here. Glad you like them. Link to comment
jana 1 Posted August 11, 2005 Mark, lovely and unusual colours, the yellow with violet and touch of silvergreen, very delicate, the composition is also just fine. Mark thank you for all the comments on my photos, I really appreciate them ! jana Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted August 13, 2005 I'm thinking leaves, like on a palm or bromiliad. Good eye, Mark! Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted August 13, 2005 ... to everyone. This shot is a complete PS product. The original (attached) is an extremely boring, poor quality macro of gladiola stems in a vase.I cropped the shot, rotated it 90 degrees clockwise, significantly upped the saturation to bring out colors that aren't really there, cropped again, reduced the overall size, and did some sharpening. These are things I do when I haven't taken a photo in a while and have to play with the rejects that I haven't yet deleted.
