Howard, I like your high key version, with more of the suggestion of water than the reality of it. Very nice!

Howard, very nice image, what is disturbing my eye is the stone under her skirt, I wish you will keep the stone, but move it to the left hs. what do you think?

I like your original version, even both of them are charming. Pnina

Howard- I like the first one. The blown highlights works for me. Captures the effects of the sun. I love her pig tails & the little ripple from the stone on the right, that captures motion, plus it has such a unique shape when compared with her shoe! Nice capture!

For me the high key version works best, as the focal point is the girl. To have left the photo in it's original form would have been too flat, this is quite a wonderful touch, Best regards Michael.

Darling posture, and she seems to be fully occupied with her thoughts. The way You let it run out in white, focuses it mainly on the rocks. All she needs.

Howard, I think it would be interesting to see if you can take the best of the 2 versions and merge them into one. I like the detail of girl at top, and like the water detail in the small clip. Nice mood, I feel.

I don't know, Howard. The two versions are different enough that they "say" different things. The high key version is more dreamlike, and certainly highlights the little girl. The second version has more realistic lighting and detail, and is more apt to cause the viewer to see a little girl trying hard to step solidly on wet stones ... she's lost in concentration. Which do YOU like better, Howard?

I like them both, very much. If forced to choose, I'd go with the clip version because I love the additional tonal detail.

Lovely. This composition really caught my eye. Captures something universal about childhood.
