Thanks, Kim. It has a lot of features I like including a shutter speed that maxes out at 1/8000! I've been a Canon user for years, and I had all of these EOS lenses, so it made sense to continue....

Nice silhouette and reflections there! I also love the colors in the sky ... nice and muted. Enjoy your new 20D!! :-)

Our harbour in my hometown is a very nice place to visit. Take a walk and bring the camera. I like pictures like this. I remember, as a child, a boat was one of the first things I wanted to make a drawing of. You can do a lot with water reflections.

Very nice composition, hue and palette.

Thanks, Jan and Daily. It was the refection that "made" it in my mind as well...

Lou Ann...although I resisted digital at first, with my film background I find the possibilities are wide open for me.

Digital makes experimentation so much easier and cheaper. You may need a bigger computer though! Nice capture of the water and sky with the boat silhouetted between.

Sarita...you're miles ahead of me....

Colin, thank you for your visit to my latest uploads!

Linda, I like the composition, reflection, and the warm sky. As for the equipment, it's just a matter of personal preference, I suppose. Other images you've made with the D50 are fine as well. ^_^

You're right, Wilson. Every one of us has had someone say to them...."Great picture! What kind of camera do you have?" Hopefully it is me that makes the difference;>)

Linda: I really like this shot - you've done an excellent job on being able to capture the sunset yet preserve all the colors and details of the boats, water and sky. Not an easy task.

John...thank you. I was amazed at the tonal range I was able to achieve.

Andrea...I like those green lights too!
