jana 1 Posted August 2, 2005 Namibia, Sossousvlei, Got up at 4:00, drove for 1 hr.,walked in dunes for 1 hour. Waiting at the salppan for the morning light. When I turned back from the salt pan towards the rising sun, I saw this. Pretty amazing, considering the people were ca 1 hour climbing away from us, just hit by the morning light. The dune was so steep you had to climb on side. How do you like it? Thanks jana Link to comment

gopho 0 Posted August 2, 2005 That hot spot at the bottom of the frame is a bit distracting, otherwise, this is an incredible photo. Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted August 2, 2005 Definitely eyecatching. I would have tried another composition, cropping the top and bottom and focusing on the pattern only. This is very effective though. Link to comment

dguindon 0 Posted August 16, 2005 The human presence scales this photo nicely! One of the few rules I live by...always look directly behind you when shooting, surprises can happen. Regards,Don Link to comment
