You knew I would love this one.It is all there. great lighting, shadow detail and the tilt that works wonders with this one. I hope there are more to come in this series

Owen, I did think you would like this and so I am very happy with your comment. There are one or two others in the series and I will upload them.... although maybe not straight away. This was the best of the series. It is a pity that some thought it was only worth a 3/3 rating. I think I understand your frustration.

 

Alex, Thanks a lot Alex! My comment to Owen, pretty much applies to you. I am glad to see that you are still posting on this site even though I understand Owen's reasons for not doing so.

David, I have to go along with all thats already been said. I know you already know this but...the very best/creative work will never be appreciated by the masses. You have a long list of admirers who have work of their own to back up the value of their appreciation for your unique vision. The day you post a photo that doesn't get a few low rates is the day you've lost your touch. I sincerely hope that day never comes.

Laurie, I don't really know how to respond. Thanks do not seem enough. I have no intention to leave P.N and I will keep posting. Some of the photographers on the 'list' you mention are getting frustrated with the system. P.N and some have sadly stopped contributing images.

 

It is frustrating that a site which places so much emphasis on ratings does not allow you to see where the ratings come from.

 

I could go on...........
