October 1973 near Parc des Laurentides in Québec, Canada.

Lovely muted colours - they make for a very tranquil mood. Were they any more vivid when the shot was taken 28 years ago? (before I was even born!)

 

I think the shot could do with more foreground interest, but is still lovely.

I also think that the muted colours are great.

 

Also interested in feedback is if the colours have become muted with age ?, if they have it may have worked to your advantage

I can't say if the muted colours is due to the shot that was taken 28 years ago. I have made a new scan of that photo. Can you tell me, which you like the most.

Gaetan, If you could kindly e-mail both scans it would be interesting to compare, shows how difficult it is to recollect colours even after a few days, yet alone 28 years, royston@orange.net
