Waterfall detail, Jiu Zhai Gou National Park, Sichuan Provence

Michael, This could have been taken anywhere in the world. It's appeal is universal. The satin water forms a natural frame for this fine detail while the soft overcast lighting allows the subtle as well as the rich saturated colours to show through. Not to be overlooked are the fine textures of the mosses and grasses and twigs. I like this one! Best, LM.

We do see a lot of this but rarely this good. It is a wonderful image.

Michael, this is like a forest microcosm. All the elements are neatly and beautifully presented in this aquatic package. I particularly like the delicate little fern at the top of the stump.

Excellent way of presenting a waterfall. Perfect example of photographer's eye. Extremely well done.

So precarious is life. Here the moss, grass and fern are growing strong and beautiful in the most unstable of enviroments without care. Living free and strong without fear. If only we could live with such abandon. Thank you Michael for reminding me to live without fear. What a beautiful story your picture tells.
