iren 1 Posted August 24, 2005 Saw this family of geese and captured, what I think, is a hilarious expression on one of the young goslings. What do you think? Comments are always appreciated. Link to comment
george_crawford 0 Posted August 24, 2005 looks like exposure was a little hot Did you compensate or shot raw to bring back some detail in the feathers of the geese Link to comment
snakecharmer 0 Posted August 24, 2005 Definition and colors not very good. I would suggest a different photo processer, or perhaps you could do some playing with the colors in Photoshop post-scan. This is a nice composition. It seems that there is some type of equipment limitation going on that is keeping you from doing the most you can do with your photo. If this is the case, I strongly commend you for doing what you can with what you have. I shot my first "art" photos with a seventeen dollar point-and-shoot last summer. It's more of a challenge with these limitations, but it can be done. Best of luck. Link to comment
iren 1 Posted September 7, 2005 Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I was frustrated at the final overall quality of my picture. I liked the expression on the young swan too much not to share, however. I haven't tried photoshop but obviously most everyone uses that for sharpening and 'fixing up', so I'll have to experiment with it. Thanks for taking the time to critique. Most appreciated! Cheers!
