This image is a scan from a print that I manipulated in the darkroom.

First the image was printed in the darkroom. The image was then

scanned. I then used Photoshop to manipulate the image to give it a

vintage feel with scratches, grunge, etc. I made aninkjet transparency

and used that as a digital negative where I then contact printed it

onto Oriental glossy fiber paper.

For me this image evokes a feeling of sorrow and melancholy. This

object once brought great joy to its owner, I'm sure. And now it is

discarded... forgotten. The end of an era... the end of the very last

song.
