It may be just me, but there seems to be a magenta cast in the sand. Though I like the simple graphic composition

Ken , you are right, there is a magenta cast in the sand. But this is what I saw and what the camera recorded (on Velvia 50). Thanks , cheers Jana

Well seen ! A magnificent dunescape, almost an abstract. The magenta in the shadows does not bother me, it may be even advantageous, another layer of cold temperature color in contrast to the warm sunlit areas. Congrats !

Harmonious is as harmonious does, soothes my soul. These "sisters" are lovely. You do dunes so well and trees.....

Very nice, interesting and different.

An apt title for this fascinating combination of light and shadow, three-dimensional flowing curves and hard edges. It seems to me the crop is just about perfect with just the sliver of blue. --jim

 

P.S. The dune sister names all seem exceptionally well chosen, except perhaps for "Ambiguous," which perhaps could also have been called 'Les Mamelles.'
