jana 1 Posted July 31, 2005 Best viewed together with the sister Dunes (folder Dunes) - as the Seductive, Gentle, Virgin, Erotic .. Thanks Jana Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted July 31, 2005 It may be just me, but there seems to be a magenta cast in the sand. Though I like the simple graphic composition Link to comment
jana 1 Posted July 31, 2005 Ken , you are right, there is a magenta cast in the sand. But this is what I saw and what the camera recorded (on Velvia 50). Thanks , cheers Jana Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted July 31, 2005 Well seen ! A magnificent dunescape, almost an abstract. The magenta in the shadows does not bother me, it may be even advantageous, another layer of cold temperature color in contrast to the warm sunlit areas. Congrats ! Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted July 31, 2005 Harmonious is as harmonious does, soothes my soul. These "sisters" are lovely. You do dunes so well and trees..... Link to comment
jimmcnitt 0 Posted August 1, 2005 An apt title for this fascinating combination of light and shadow, three-dimensional flowing curves and hard edges. It seems to me the crop is just about perfect with just the sliver of blue. --jim P.S. The dune sister names all seem exceptionally well chosen, except perhaps for "Ambiguous," which perhaps could also have been called 'Les Mamelles.' Link to comment
anish 0 Posted August 2, 2005 harmonious, indeed. very well balanced and exposed... -Anish Link to comment

sue_foll1 0 Posted December 1, 2009 I thought I'd commented on this series before, but maybe I've just looked. They are lovely graphic pieces. I think you have a very distict colour language. Well done. Sue Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted January 31, 2010 Interesting colors, shadows and lighting. Great fluidity in this shot The one stone breaking the line of the dunes edge bothers me a little, but that is a minor item. - Charles Link to comment
