Cool shot. Are those scanning artifacts (the line pattern across the frame)? Were you in the water for this, or was this taken at an aquarium?

I'm in the water. Not in a zoo. this photo has been taken in the wild. A very cloudy day and an old Nikonos V without flash is the problem. Besides, not the best scanner to digitalize the slide... Cheers from Canary Islands

I like how the sealion in the background stands out against the light color of the bubble cloud. A slightly lower camera position may have helped the first one stand out better too. Of course I know how fast these guys zip around and leave you no time to think. Very nice catch, especially difficult with a 35/28mm lens and no strobe.
