well, so far this sky-manipulated photo might be able to capture the

drama of this landscape somehow. However I will be revisiting the

place in end September 2001 and try to get a wide-angle photo with ND

filter, maybe it gets closer to the actual impression one has when

being there.

You're gonna tell me I'm just being picky again, but this picture would be better presented without advertisement.

 

Aesthetically, you might try reworking the sky for a more uniformly etheral feel to the piece, though I like the earthy ambience in general.

I love it when technology can be used to totally transform an image. This is a powerful, evocative image that has lifted the response of the viewer to a place that can only be glimpsed by the photographer's imagination. Steaming, boiling, and straining to break free but stifled by the vines which restrain them! Terrific work.
