Venice pigeons

there are lots of pigeons in the San Marco square!

Now, this is an original shot!This is one of the most phtographed spots in the world. I've taken about 300 here myself so it's nice to see a new view! Good work. Perhaps using PS to bring out a little more detail in the buildings would improve it (or perhaps not).

BTW, they have tried everything from poison to falcons (the current idea) to chase them away. They even developed genetically modified seed that was indistinguishable from normal seed but would make the males sterile. Well, they thought it was indistiguishable but the pigeons ate the normal seed and ignored the modified seed. Back to the drawing board ....
