davidmccracken 2 Posted July 28, 2005 I never was one to shy away from controversy. I guess this might offend some. I guess the critiques and ratings will tell. Feedback appreciated. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted July 28, 2005 David, I have enjoyed your work occasionally for a good time now. It's been a long while since I ran across one of yours, and this is refreshing. Great sense of humor, wit, irony (and need I say technically excellent?)... keep up the work my friend. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted July 28, 2005 Graet image. Composition, contrast and a good image overall. No More No Less. Marco Ruggiero Link to comment
eimages 0 Posted July 28, 2005 First, I like the color contrast; Second, I like the curves; Third, I love the idea. Do you spend your time at the cafe thinking up all your wonderful ideas, or does it come to you during the session? Are you going to be around HK in October? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 28, 2005 A really great photo and title, I like the exposure. I agree with the other posters but I don't find it scary, it is in my mind an important photo. I like to be challenged so your work appeals to me, I enjoy learning here very much. I like the composition of the condom in the right side of the frame, natural. The light is just right and even the angle of the pin is good. Such warm tones from her great arse. A good advertisement for the green party. Cheers and all the best from Ireland. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 28, 2005 Kind of like the rhythm method, 98% effective. If you have sex twice a week, statistically you will average one baby per year. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted July 29, 2005 Isaac, I think the green thing is chewing gum. It certainly tasted minty..... so the model tells me! E, You can say as much as you like when it is put to me like that. Seriously, thanks for your kind words. I do try to inject some humour sometimes. It is good to know it is appreciated. Marco, Kind words. I am flattered. I like the image myself. Thanks a lot! Knicki, I don't believe you are scared of anything! I glad this prompted you to respond the way you did. Thanks! Mark, I am not sure what it is you think I don't need but I think I need it..... what is it? Alex, I am glad you like this. This means a lot coming from you. The ideas come at different times. Many ideas are in my head but have not being shot. The problem is finding models to help me realise my sometimes artistic, sometimes warped and sometimes amusing sense of nonsense. Thanks! Illat, Thank you! Simo, I don't think I am great but knowing that someone thinks I am is encouraging. Thanks a lot. Ben, It's the emarald colour you like and nothing else. Just joking! It is good to know someone in Ireland has seen this. It was the title that I thought would offend but it appears I am wrong. Thanks for the many kind words! Pepe, Glad it made you smile! Chris, Ditto Pepe. Keith, 1 baby a year. If that was the same woman, she would spend three quarters of her fertile life pregnant. That is scary! Pitman, Don't you mean 'from conception......?' Just teasing! Thanks a lot. Everyone, I am very encouraged by the feedback on this picture. I am not sure about the 1/1 it received. Is it any wonder people are frustrated with this site? Why must we suffer anonymous ratings? Thanks everyone! Link to comment
satee 0 Posted July 29, 2005 David tell me what prpmpted you to use needle in this nice shot. Your images evoke Interest. Simlicity is complex and with it comes brilliance. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted July 29, 2005 Satvinder, Thanks for the very pleasant comment. I am not sure how to answer your question reagarding the needle. Might I ask what you would have used? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 29, 2005 7/7 Hi again, I seem to remember some religious spiel about a camel going through the eye of a needle !! But, I read in the last issue of National Geographic something cool about stem cell research. The Vatican and Ireland (both suck) are both leading opposition to the research on stem cells, whereas Britain (I'm a non-nationalist Canadian) is the leader. The U.S of course, has banned it, except in private research......So, there was an amazing photo (nearly as cool as 'Vatican Approved', of a stem cell actually INSIDE the eye of a needle !!! How Cool is that? Also, the image was taken with an electron microscope, so I guess the German glass worshipers would be happy with the resolution too! Have a nice day, and Cheers. Link to comment
love - the - world 0 Posted July 29, 2005 It's a brave try David. Mild feeling with vigorous elements. I deem that the model might have the sense to protect her butt as well. By the way, I agree that artist somehow should have his mind of rebel in order to come up good ideas. "Perfect Art come from perfect life" This is the goal we are striving toward. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 29, 2005 A perfect recipe for AIDS...good idea David ,sell it for PR.... Pnina Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 29, 2005 Again and again, you come up with witty, well executed photos! I suspect the 1/1 was posted by a priest perusing the nude forum. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted July 30, 2005 Ben, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I did think this image would produce more comments like yours. I was wrong. I certainly don't want to enter any debate here. Suffice to say that the image says it all. Thanks! Somi, There is so much in your comment that I really don't know how to respond. I am not sure what you are saying about the model protecting her butt. I can tell you the inclusion of the butt was purely for aesthetic reasons. I don't think I have a rebelious mind.... perhaps a little warped. Perfect art! I have no idea what that might be but I can assure you that the model is as close to being perfect as is possible. Pnina, An interesting comment. The photograph is more about religion than AIDS but I guess it works for both. Thank you. Laurie, It is good to know you stopped by and left your own amusing slightly controversial comment. It made me smile anyway! Thanks everyone. Link to comment
pieter_cuijpers 0 Posted August 1, 2005 That's wicked! Skin, a green cirkle, and a line to break the symmetry a bit. Nice work. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted August 2, 2005 Thanks for the comment. Originally I did take this on a plain background. I would have to admit myself that the skin does make it more aesthetic. Link to comment
