mcgarity 0 Posted July 29, 2005 I like the way you composed it. But its obviously got a pretty heavy bluish purple tint. It could also use a slight boost in overall contrast. If you have good photoshop skills you might try using the selective color tool and add some yellow to both the cyan and the blue. As for framing, I think it enhances the appearance of a photo. Just stay away from the gaudy colors is my advice. Link to comment
hiro_aki 0 Posted July 29, 2005 I too think that the pattern on the water surface is very nice. To me, the pattern is so dominant and I don't feel the need for top mountain section of the picture. If you crop that out, the blue cast could be a good effect rather than desturbing. Just a thought. Link to comment
ivan colman 0 Posted July 29, 2005 Personally I would crop out the upper half so that the photo concentrates on the nice patterns in the water Link to comment
dave_holland 0 Posted July 30, 2005 These are perceptive comments and I appreciate your effort. Now that I look at this again I see what you mean. I wonder if my moniter needs a little calibration, as it doesn't seem gawdy blue to me, but others have made similar comments about this image as well. Link to comment
jfochoa 0 Posted April 25, 2006 Beautiful pattern! I agree with the comments... but the picture is very good. Congrats! Link to comment
