Cranes, ship, lighthouse & Mt.Baker@sunset

Iren, you've been very clever to include so much of this view into the image. I like the way you've framed the main elements of the lighthouse and Mt. Baker by the cranes at Naden. I've often thought of shooting from the other side. I still can't quite figure out where you were located. Lightening up the foreground might bring out a little detail in the rocks. Thanks for showing me a view of Victoria I hadn't noticed.

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately if I lighten up the rocks, Mt.Baker suffers! I was at Esquimalt Lagoon. The picture of the pastel ocean with the kayakers is on the same night, same spot. Thank you for your interest in my portfolio! Regards, Iren

Yes Hanna, I do live in Victoria- for 18 years now. I just picked up a camera a couple of months ago for fun, though, and really enjoy it. How about yourself?
