It was a miserable day and so David stayed at home and viewed the miserable weather in comfort.

I'm glad to see you make good use of your time, even when you're stuck indoors. I enjoy this photo on several levels. As an abstract, the composition and use of color are quite nice. The photo itself tells a story. What intriqued me most was the way the building, cars, and trees, all seem like a small scale model of a city, not the real thing. Interesting.

Laurie, You may have brought my attention to something I did not see. I liked this picture myself but was not sure why.

 

It is probably the fact that everything looks like toys or models that makes this appealing. Thanks for that.

I had a task at hand and never realized how hard it was to do the task. I focused on the one drop while my husband drove around and watched it change.

 

This I love because all the drops are in focus. Mostly beccause you are far better at photography than I am and your camera is much better than mine is. Some day yes! But for now I learn.

 

I absolutely LOVE the grean and the pinks and that little bit of YELLOW. I feel your pain as you sit there and look out the window. What a wonderful picture. I sure hope you had company while you waited for the sky to turn nicer! ~ micki
