I find best from your foggy morning photos this one ... probably because the sun is not shining directly on the lens.

Maria, that morning the fog was really heavy through the trees and it was really awe inspiring, so I thought hey,, let me get my camera,, so I did. but since I was closest to my 35mm that is the one that i got this shot and the one into the branches with the fog had started to lift a little (as you can see on the lower left corner) by this point but the sun hadn't quite made it all the way up. so i went inside and got my medium format and set it up and had to wait a few minutes after that till the next morning cloud came over the hill. by this point the sun was up more and the cloud was thinner. that is the other tree photo that I have.

 

anyway that is the story, hope you like it like you do the photos.

This is nice. The lighting is not so harsh that it overwhelms and overexpose the image at the top. Going down the image the fog and rays add a nice mood. The bottom is a bit dark but the highlights on the leaves more than make up for that. I especially like the highlights on the leaves; kinda make the whole image spiritual.

I love how the light shines down through the trees giving the photo an almost surreal feel. Really amazing.
