People on aircraft carriers wear different colored shirts to show

their jobs. Purple is the color for JP-5 (jet fuel) handlers. Here,

they are sitting on the very bow of the ship in the somewhere near

Guam.

Hi Bill, I enjoy the camraderie shown in this image. A group of men who do a largely thankless job stealing a few moments to enjoy the sunset and the relative peace and quite.

 

On the technical side, I like the way the fill flash has drawn out the vibrance in the shirts. On the incredibly nitpicky side, the horizon seems to tilt a little to the left.

Thanks again. You're going to my head. I like it for the same reason. although we seem to be alone here! But, I left the horizon tilted on purpose. I thought -proabably mistakenly - that it helped convey the idea of being on a ship.
