Double launch

Not an easy shot to get. Well done!

 

I think I've taken pictures from this same spot on the USS John C Stennis. I've never been in the Navy but I've been lucky enough to go on two tiger cruises. A best buddy from college is now CO of VFA-25.

Thanks Jamie ... I was aboard two months and they probably launched planes this close together about twice so I was quite lucky. As you know, they are graded on everything and this was the last day before a week of "no-fly" days so there was no grading and they were showing off a bit.

Taken on the USS Carl Vinson last year. I took a few hundred shots

and watched probaably 350+ launches and only got two where you could

see two planes.
