Guest Guest Posted July 29, 2005 Nice wide angle, good color and lines here. Good luck. -e- Link to comment
lauracangiano 0 Posted August 2, 2005 I hadn't seen this one..much better than the other one of the galleria. very good tones and composition. did you do any ps adjustment to it?just curious. Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted August 2, 2005 No, I did surprisingly little to this one. I just applied an S curve for the contrast (which I do to just about everything) and boosted the saturation a bit. I took about five different shots with various combinations of the central dome and the corridors and I liked this one best. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 12, 2006 Your color work is getting much much stronger! This one just jumps off the monitor screen. Very nice rendering here. (Of course you know I'd like to see a b&w version of this one, don't you?) Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted February 12, 2006 Hmmmm ... that's an intersting idea. I love B&W, of course, but this picture never struck me as a candidate for that because I enjoy the blue and gold so much. I will have to give it a try. Link to comment
ejharris 0 Posted March 10, 2006 Bill, this is a grand image. I really like the shapes and the geometry. You have also done a good job exposing the sky through the glass and the details of the inside of the building. Great capture. Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted March 20, 2006 Thank you for your recent comments on my photos Bill. I thought I would check out your Galleria shot too. I actually attempted a similar shot highlghting the dome which I am yet to post. The really blue sky makes this particularly striking. I will be visiting Naples next month so I may try some shots in this location. Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted March 20, 2006 Thanks Kah Kit! I lived in Naples for years and still have family there so if you want any advice, shoot me an email. Link to comment
