Linda: I really like this shot, the colors and textures are just wonderful. I'm always amazed and the shots you and Rog put up and how you both can take something simple and make it into a work of art. Well done. 6/7

I love this kind of shot, great textures nicely composed. I wonder about those tiny red dots below the center (droplets of paint ? Or pushed-up reds from rusty nails ?)

I think we both "see" our world in very similar fashion, we both like lots of texture yet simple graphic detail. I can remember when first looking at images here on PN, before joining, that I was captivated by your photos. I'm still waiting for the opportune moment to shoot the old brick house in a dramatic/moody vein. So far, as I ramble through your portfolio, the 38 photos is my favs, it'll take me a while to get through all 248 images. This image "Studies......appeals because I love the texture in wood and you've captured it so well. How did you get such strong contrast? I've tried a few attempts at editing into B&W and or sepia and the images, to me, seem "weak". Even though this image is in color it just glows with great contrast. Time for me to go nite/nite, we're shipping some steers early tomorrow.
