you have a leica too? do your shoulders hurt from carrying all that gear around?

no quibbles from me on composition, I like how the awnings and the street line/edge of sidewalk lead the eye in and the power lines direct into the far part of the buildings. Of course, I pretty much like anything with power lines.

Knicki, fortunately the Leica is really light . . . I can carry the Leica with a 40mm lens, plus a Voigtlander with 15mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 75mm lenses all in one very small pack. It's much lighter than carrying the digital and a few lenses. One of the benefits of working a somewhat unsatisfying job is that I can afford to indulge my camera infatuation.

By the way, based on your carnival photos, I tried snapping a few rides in Seaside last Saturday. I posted one in this folder, but it's not nearly as good as yours.
