Guest Guest Posted July 21, 2005 Because of the cascades, it might be better, more interesting and/or easier if you compose a small and interesting area of the cascade instead of the whole fall. Here's a cheap way I deal with water coming at me from a fall. If you know in advance that such condition might occur, bring a rubberband and a transparent plastic bag. When water starts landing on your camera body, wrap the camera with the bag with the bottom end of the bag pressed against your lens and tie the rubberband at the end of the lens; then make a hole in the bag for the lens. I came up with this cheap method after killing my camera trying to capture a waterfall; you can see that image in my portfolio. Link to comment
