I see what you mean C.W....

I also like the larger gaps.

Thanks for sharing your work.

"Wait, Dad. Let me see that one! That is sooooooo cool, it looks just like a basket." -- Hi, Liz, I think you just got a 7/7 from my daughter. What's more, I remember the portrait from a few years ago. So, the question is, "What more can I do to this photo?" The answer from Jim and Eliza is: "Frame It!" --jim

You have done enough good things to it that I almost want to say leave it alone but I won't say it! I believe if your imaginations got you this far then you could pretty much keep going! I love the lighting by the way.

A little texture might help and you could try printing it on a fine art paper, maybe a linen or canvas. But, it's already spectacular. Most importantly, you paid attention to the most important thing for me: you had a great picture before you did anything to it. Absolutely outstanding and the first 7/7 I've given in a month!

IMO this picture is really great! It's more than a picture. It's Art! Everythig is excellent - the idea, model, colors, shadows...

Congratulations.

I like it with the grid effect, but would also like to see the photo without any special effect, it's a lovely profile view/portrait in itself.

cool effect, but there's not much to the model's expression, unless there's some subtlety that I'm missing. If it were me, I would re-shoot and use the same texture and effect with a different shot.

I think this is well done. Maybe you could add some texture to the rotting just to see how it works, but I'm not sure the picture need it.

And, I'm sure the picture of the woman is also great without the rotting. (rated)
