dennismk 0 Posted July 22, 2005 She loves places like this to Kayak and the shot looks more of a danger than it really was. I was in our Avon dighy with a 9.9hp outboard and was shooting her with a D70 and the Nikon 80to 400 VR lens. We finaly have our 23' Clipper Craft back in the water after 2years of being messed around with by a number of boat shops. But now we dont have the time to use it much and that is when I do most of my shooting, in Prince William Sound. Maybe we will get another chance to get out before fall. Thank you for the comment Brad hope you are well. Link to comment

Landrum Kelly 64 Posted July 24, 2005 Dennis, that water is so cold! I am a chicken when it comes to cold ocean water in a kayak--I'll go out in any weather short of a gale, but, please, give me warmer water if I get dunked, as I do from time to time. --Lannie Link to comment
dennismk 0 Posted July 25, 2005 You are right about the water up here. It can kill you pretty fast if one falls in. Vickie has never dumped her kayak and I hope never will. But she has had training in cold water recovery. Link to comment
