billangel 9,671 Posted July 20, 2005 I don't agree that the background needs to be sharper. The focal point of the image is the wedding ring, rather than the identity of the bride. It's as if she were boasting that "I've won the prize" i.e. she has gotten some fellow to marry her, rather than her having to settle for a more casual type of sexual relationship, such as simply living together. atkphotoworks 0 Posted August 24, 2005 I completely agree with Bill on this. The focus is on the ring. I think there is enough sharpness to see the terrific expression on her face. Her expression and her body language work in concert together, but both don't have to be so prominent and in your face by being in focus. This image really stands out for me as does much of your work. Link to comment
