John, Thanks for the comment. Very glad you found it. BTW, I made a mistake. This is actually Reed Eastley playing second base for a day instead of shortstop Robbie Hudson. ^_^

Christopher Appoldt
Wow - nailed it! How many exposures did it take!? Great lighting, too, Wilson.

Howard Dion
This one works but not as exciting as the others. It's amazing how seeing the player's face can make such a difference. You Da Man!!!

Hi Wilson Wonderful composition and lighting on this...not to mention perfect timing. Sport shots are not my favorite, but I can and do appreciate the technical and creative aspects you put into all of your photos!!

Thanks for your comments, CHRISTOPHER: Thanks. It was couple shots with this batter during that particular at bat. It's definitely easier with D2X than D70. Not a whole lot I can do with the light, but to work with whatever happens to be at game time. HOWARD: Thanks. Indeed you're right about the faces. In sports we definitely want to see faces. Funny though different players have different stance, body gesture, and follow through so you'll never know what you'll get. LINDA: Thank you very much for your kind words. It's probably fair to say that sport shots are tough sell here on PN. Again, do it to please oneself and all will fall in place. Wilson ^_^

Oops, wrong info above. AquaSox won this one 13-5.

This is what I'm searching for---contact. Great shot.
