Of your Vintage series, I like this photo best because there is far more mystery and it looks less contrived. The opening and shadowy distance from the picture plane to the figure places the viewer directly in the suspense. The vee shape of the tree tends to be the focal point but more as a diversion than a compositional element. I don't know that you planned any of the things I mentioned but I don't think the suspense would be available if the image were color.
