kbridgman 0 Posted July 18, 2005 I have to say this...after noticing the average scores that have been given to this image I was very surprised. This is a very good image...no, it is an excellant image. I know everyone has their own opinion and tastes, but this picture deserves high scores...The composition is superb, the colors are vivid, the uniqueness of the scene sets it apart from the vast majority of landscape images presented in the forum...I for one think anyone who scores this image as average is mistaken in judgment. Guest Guest Posted July 19, 2005 It is beautiful landscape. Love it all. It looks very similar to some works of Michele here on PN! except for the clouds! Thank you, B:l:ana Link to comment
manack 0 Posted July 24, 2005 From a raw beginner to photography, I must say that this picture has definitely taught me a lot. Simplicity obviously is an aspect that I cannot afford to overlook if I want to capture a beautiful image, such as the one you have offered here Dieter. Well, when I say 'simplicity', you make it look simple, however I hazard to guess that capturing the simple may not be as easy as it looks. Thank you for a wonderful image, and thank you for the lesson learned. Naaku noa...Geoff M Link to comment
jlondonphoto 0 Posted December 1, 2005 I've been here! It's between San Quirico D'Orcia (which means 'Valley of the Orgy') and Mantalcino. This ,ay not have been the best time of day for this shot (bright sun). It's a little contrasty but you pulled it off with some great color. I've got a shot of this too. Your's is much better than mine. I'll post some of my photos in the next couple of days if you'd like to give them a look. This is a very popular and photographed scene as the "Tuscany Photographic Workshop is right up the road. Your entire portfolio is awesome! Good Work! Link to comment
